The ability to scrap a win with the loss of the majority of our best is massive, although Carlton's injuries in the game did play to our favour they didn't go away and to fight and scrap over the line is impressive. You won't win pretty over Carlton, so take it regardless

I hope Nev does make AA just to show the media how far they've underrated him in their predictions. Good work to fight back after getting caught holding the footy. In that last contest i thought when he went to ground it was over, thankfully a second player arrived and nev got back to his feet to cause the turn over

Simpson ****in killed us all day as a loose man. Had a clutch one on one contest in the last and absolutely squibbed it against Jetta. Looked like an almighty pea heart. Well done Jetts!

COP THAT BLUES SCUMBAGS!
And that blonde umpire, more corrupt and dodgy than Bernice Vince - and that's saying something!

The way we bullishly just kept pushing the ball forward in last 4mins was insane!
Trac lead the way, just in everything!

And the finish. Just so so smart. There's just no way Kent, Melks, pretty much anyone in our team would do that. But Lewis with the experience.

Good: winning. Just so so important. Doesn't matter who you beat this year, just need to keep winning.
Also good: never say die attitude with (and also by,) a bus load of passengers.
Extra good: how many times did we run back with the flight in the last 5mins?! At least 4 of them, which we took 2 marks, and forced 2 massive contests to a 50/50- MASSIVE!

Bad: passengers. But hey, we won with a clear 6 best all missing.

Ugly: the blonde god boy looking umpire. I'd be checking his bank account. (Not serious, but I would have zero shock if I found out he grew up supporting Carlton)

Also Ugly: flog in crowd who challenged Clayton, and when he wheeled around, IMMEDIATELY took a shityourself step backwards. Pathetic scum.

Gutsy win. Years gone by we could have capitulated in the 1st quarter after they kicked the first three. Added to that our injuries and that I think Carlton are building a decent side, a significant win which puts us in the top 4 for the first time in over a decade. Roll on next week!

Haven't watched the game so I'll do a Topkent and make a quick assumption from the stat sheet, bloody great effort ANB. We needed the lower tier players to stand up and he did.
Were you working or actively avoiding watching it live?

I'm considering not watching live anymore. Too stressful

**** I enjoyed Lewis being the one to bury that mob. Never has there been a side not attack the ball in hoping for a free more than that blues side today.
I reiterate to my post in round 2. Carlton love to play the victims wether it's on or off the field. Even that supporter who had a go at clarry tried it

Doesn't matter about this win fellas, according to the Blues thread, injuries and bad umpiring gave us this win and even if we make finals reality will hit us and we will be obliterated

Even if all of this is true, these muppets will have to wait till next year to give it another crack. Maybe next time leave Cripps in the shed, poor bloke is made of glass
