Does McGough consider himself a really good player or something? I mean he tells his club he wants to be traded like he's really in demand.

What about pick 23?

Sounds alright. What if we did want Didak?

1. Stinger is gone.

2. Ladhams will be kept on as he is under contract.

3. We need Torney's toughness. He is a required player IMO. I think we need Perrie as well - give him 1 full year at CHF.

I'd also consider trading Reid and Trigg. Worth a 3rd Rounder??:p :D

1. Yeah i kinda accept that.
3. Maybe so but he fell way out of favour this year and as for Perrie he is standing in the way of Watts, Hentshel, Bock etc. development. Every year he does just enough not to be delisted and then he plays the first 15 games of the season badly and plays a decent last half dozen games.

I would argue playing Bock at CHF for a few games was holding back Perrie's development. ;)

I think that Bock is developing a lot slower than the other 'newbies' that we blooded. I see bright futures for Reilly, Rutten, Jericho and Fergus. I think the jury is still out on Bock.

The really good thing about Perrie is that he PRESENTS. He can find the ball with no problem but handling and skill errors need improving. This problem I believe is confidence-related.

As I said before, give him the next year at CHF then reassess.

:)

What would you guys take for Bode?

From Collingwood that is.

NOTHING, Bode CAN'T be traded, we need him too much!... And I like him way too much to see him in black and white!

... Nothing personal, they're ok colours.

Bode is tradeable IMO. May be a good in & under player, but his field kicking looks like it won't come up to scratch. I would trade him for the Pies 2nd rounder if we were able to trade for someone like a Thompson.

He can work on his feild kicking goals, he's a great player, and I want to keep him. He's better at it in the SANFL, and I wouldn't trade him.

He has has several years to improve his field kicking, but hasn't. Why would this pre-season be any different? We have plenty of SANFL "stars" who haven't made it at AFL level.
