I had hopes that we'd get at least some early career success from Freeman before fading towards the end of his rookie contract.

I rate him. I think he was better early in the season than later, though. Maybe some rookie fatigue kicking in.

High expectations for him going forward imo.

Montee was the exact same as Freeman basically. Showed good signs as a second option in his rookie season. Now imagine how bad it'd be if Freeman was our expected #1 coming into this season like Montee was. Luckily we had Hillman and then Anderson and now Lindsay.

Elway has been bad at drafting RB's

He seems to think drafting guys with experience is the way to go, like 3 or 4 year starter being better than a 1 or 2 year starter because of the experience they have. But really that's just more unnecessary tread off the tires.

Run game has lost all creativity this yr which is a shock under scangarello. Also im not sure the numbers but last yr we were a great run blocking team. Doesn't feel like it this yr

You're not going to win many games with a 80/20 pass/run split, regardless of run effectiveness.

Not being able to run is a big issue. It doesn't even need to be highly effective run, just enough to keep a D honest. We couldn't even do that meaning we had to pass and that didn't look all that good either tbh.
