Coll upgraded Pick 11 for 10. Freeman to Sheed.
Collingwood gave WC the second round pick which netted Yeo.
I don't care what mistakes he's made. Hawks took Mitch Thorpe ahead of Joel Selwood. Every person, in every club and in every other profession makes mistakes (sometimes regularly!). Hine is good.
The end.

Okay Mick, once again you've got the facts completely wrong.
We traded picks 11,31 and 49 to West Coast for picks 6 and 44.
We traded pick 44 to Sydney for Jesses White.
Elliot Yeo was traded from Brisbane for pick 28 which was West Coast's original second round pick. So this had nothing to do with Collingwood.
West Coast took Malcolm Karparny at pick 31 and Dylan Main at 49.
Sydney took Aliir Aliir at pick 44.
So they are the players you should be comparing Jesse White to.
Just to make it clear: Elliot Yeo had nothing to do with our trading and was acquired with West Coast's original second round pick (28) not the pick 31 we traded to them.
OP has one final opportunity to admit he was wrong. Nothing wrong with opening up a discussion, but you gotta get your facts right.
I think the facts have now been made very clear, and its time to admit you were wrong. I give you one opportunity.
If you fail to respond, or try to rejustify your position, you will lose all credibility and be put into the pile of troll posters.
This thread will be interesting if one of Treloar or Aish doesn't come in. Other clubs are doing trades and Hine is stuck.

Lol thats got nothing to do with the fact your initial post was completely wrong.
Surely this is the same winner here?Come back THATSGOLD, all is forgiven!
I have a feeling you are going to regret this thread by the end of the week.
He's been really good, hasn't he. Can we change this thread to a toast?Hats off to you Mr Hine. Long may you continue as list manager of our great club.

White was a 7/10, Young a 3/10 (due mainly to injury out of Hines control), Armstrong a 5/10, TA an 9/10, Varcoe a 9.5/10 and Crisp an 8/10.To start the ball rolling, let's clarify some things.
Hine took over as List Manager at the end of 2013, Geoff Walsh walked out during the middle part of that year, shortly after the Harry O'Brien drama.
Don't believe Derek is a bad recruiter. He is a very good recruiter of U18 kids, that is a difference to bringing traded players in.
Hine has brought in these recycled players. White, Tony Armstrong, Clinton Young, Taylor Adams, Varcoe & Crisp. I'd put his strike rate at 50/50.
A lot of criticism gets thrown towards Buckley but our list management under Hine has been questionable.
