So I just got this game for my birthday yesterday. What's the go?

So firstly you need to decide what character to start with (Warlock, Hunter or Titan). If you are having trouble deciding what to start with then youtube some gameplay to get a feel of what the abilities and pros/cons are. (I personally recommend starting with a Warlock)

Then once you've done that you just need to play through the story missions. Once you get up a few levels you'll unlock bounties. These Bounties are refreshed daily (8pm AEDST) and are the fastest way to level up a character when combined with Story missions and strikes.

Once you reach 20, that's where the grind begins and you'll either love it or hate it. But like most here the main reason we still play is the bigfooty community we've created.

If you need help at all feel free to hit any of us up (except Tupper, he doesn't help anyone) and once you've levelled up enough we'll be able to pop your raid cherry.
