Iron Banner is fine. You don't need to play with friends. Just try not to suck and keep at it, you'll improve.

Also a tip for you Iron Banner enthusiasts. Maybe wait a couple seconds before you grab the heavy ammo!

How have you been finding the lag this Iron banner? I've never really had an issue but this one has been really really bad for myself and my mates

Yep. Has been ok but I do think it's worse.
Had a couple instances where it was a bit laggy in the game and once it took ages to find a game.
I'm pretty sure I saw a guy with a lag switch for the first time as well.

Yeah I think we ran into a group lag switching for the first time in trials the other day. We were never going 9-0 but it did end our run early and we missed out on the weapon.

You can never be sure but from what ive heard about it, they seemed to fit the description

yeah I got the Wrath as well. Always so satisfying. Once my Jolders Hammer warms up it's just lethal. I barely had any negative games last night, a few top of the table finishes, and kd hovering between 1 and 3, which for me is outstanding. Finally my sniping practice is paying off too.

It is so easy to wonder why you're not getting those control point bounties, but it's often so tempting to bumrush B and get some quick kills!

Yep I usually go to b first. When at least 3 of you go you can usually get it.

Played 6 games today. Worst I've gone is 1.8. Won all of them. Best I've done for a while really.

Talking about rushing B, I have to say that Nothing Manacles are almost stupidly OP. You start with 2 of them and it's like having wolfpack rounds in your pocket, you can rush B or the oppositions point and if there's a few players there a couple of quick scatter grenades and shit gets ****** up big time. Mind you, having played Warlock until level 3 last night before swapping to Titan, it can backfire on you badly too - a few occasions where my aim was slightly off and hit something near me and the scatter homed in on me instead. They **** you up just as much as they **** up an enemy!!!

Yep. I have a mate who is a warlock and he has just started using them. He's absolutely killin it! Mind you the fist of havoc has done me pretty well. I've got a few cry havocs when the other team went for a zone. So satisfying :)


Just got NL Shadow to drop. Ridiculous fire rate for a scout rifle.

Yeah recorded mine too. Had full auto and third eye. Reformed (tough decision) 10k glimmer later...

I've settled on
Full auto
Zen moment (increases stability when you cause damage)
Braced frame (increased stability but reduced mag) will decide if I use this depending on how much I lose out of the mag.

Dare I say I could actually put this above my precious Vision!

Of course you don't need to play with friends, it's just that if you don't, you're operating at a significant disadvantage, especially in a mode like Control. I can keep a consistent KDR of around 1.4, but my team is still going to be losing most matches, and that's what rustles my jimmies.

I was hoping more along the lines of "die 3 times in 25 seconds. Do this 10 times" and "only charge up super once per game."

I got full auto, high calibre and hidden hand. It's a beast.

Also a fan of the Spare Change pulse rifle. I understand it's probably not quite as good as either The Messenger or Hopscotch Pilgrim but it's still ****ing awesome - I have a stability mod on it though which helps given it's tendency to kick left.

I also scored Peruns Fire as a drop. I don't use fusions too much, but it looks pretty good. Although if I was going to start using fusions I'd probably just ascend my Foil and use that

Make sure your intellect is maxed and you manage to get a couple supers a game. With the dying lots and quickly just do little things like keep an eye on your radar, don't be afraid to stay back a bit and always have either Thorn, The Last Word or Hawkmoon. The way PVP is atm if you don't have those then you're at a disadvantage.
 
Wow it's hard to get used to the NL shadow. I really suck with it at the moment. I miss my Vision! Still not upgraded to the final perk though.


Saw a couple articles saying people are talking about the Gally being up for sale this weekend for the 4th of July. Interesting!
