Right now I'm persevering with making Red Death work. It seems to be dependable and most of my losses are down to personal skill error.

I'm really looking forward to IB because then I'll see how good it really is given people won't be able to run their Messengers which is still better than Red Death in pretty much every way. Which is hard to get used to, especially if you've been using a Messenger/Hopscotch post 2.0 like I stupidly have.

Right now my 'it' weapon is 1000 Yard Stare, it just feels like home and it probably helps that I haven't got a shotgun that I'm comfortable rocking in IB as of right now.

Did you get the Conspiracy Theory-D? Seems very solid for a PvP Y2 shotty to me. Sidearms can be ok too, now that they are hitscan, not that I have one

if its a consistent 3 shot now it may be a 4, 5,6 shot? i could make 4 shots work no worries.

I don't know for sure but it is likely the case that an entire magazine to the head won't kill a guardian. If you look you can find footage of severely under-leveled guardians competing in Iron Banner and it's hilarious. They can super someone and they barely feel it.

It is probably going to be like that footage of the guy using Nechrochasm on a Gatekeeper during TDB. Empty clips and clips into him for SFA damage

well, to be fair, if it works out the way they are saying it could be ok. That is, free content paid for by people who are happy to buy dance moves, but we'll see... if it's a slippery slope beyond cosmetics it's not great

same. It then becomes an "idiot tax", which I'm ok with. If people want to breakdance or walk like an egyptian and it means I don't have to pay money for actual content then I am more than good with it. I guess the problem then is you get dudes with flaming capes and shit and if you don't want to have to pay money you're stuck looking bland but then, I'm sure it won't be too expensive, and it's still a choice you get to make

That's just all kinds of wrong!

(BTW I haven't attempted the raid yet except for a small look at Golgoroth so am waiting to be terrified of the jumping puzzle - haven't looked at any vids either)

Agree with most here, if it stays cosmetic then I have no issues but as soon as it turns to game content/weapons/armor etc. that's when it becomes a problem and Destiny turns into a Pay to Win game.
