If people cared - and thankfully large swathes of the world's sporting community did - then they signed on to the boycott.

If people wanted to put their own interests above the suffering of others - well, they made their bed, and history/society rightly judges them harshly.

The crowds will be full if Australia, India or England tour - perhaps South Africa as well. Of course, you have to take Covid restrictions into account.

No, but that's not what was being argued. People said they were morally low because they cared more about money than they did about their fellow man suffering from racism. That's why people say it's a matter of caring or not caring.

I reckon if they finally built that new stadium in Auckland, they might get a decent crowd. If they want to be taken seriously as a cricketing power, they need to pull big crowds in big cities, which isn't going to happen if they're giving prime tests to Napier and Mount Maunganui.

What has the choice of venue got to do with being taken seriously as a cricketing power. If anything, those boutique stadiums are proper cricketing venues versus say Auckland (Eden Park) which hosts other sports.

We are the best or second best team in the world. Australia don't want to lose here so they won't tour.

That’s not your judgement to make. As victims of racism themselves as I’m certain they would have had a stance on it. They were also poorly paid by their own board, many of them had families and needed to find a way to provide for them and anecdotally many of them felt it would actually improve black and white relations in SA to see a team of black men mixing it with the whites.

No one comes out and condemns Barry Richards for representing that country who actually ENFORCED apartheid but these guys get judged for playing against them.

Yes, a test team that was the best in the world and at any given time 11 vacancies.

Bank robbery is, in most countries, illegal. These tours were not. It’s a poor comparison.

And yes there were many testimonies that suggested it did make a positive impact.
