Such is the nature of an outcome based suspension process

Action should determine punishment imo - with the outcome determining the severity of the punishment; not whether the punishment is warranted in the first place

My sons u12 team have just lost their best player to soccer after he pulled the plug on footy. He played both this year but after copping too many pathetic cheap punches (and one incredibly dangerous one) and attention off the ball he and his parents left.

I applaud the AFL and Michael Christian in doing nothing to stop this and giving soccer a leg up. If you think young kids and their idiotic parents aren’t influenced by the vision and standards set by the AFL you’re dreaming.
