In fact, an absolute NUMBNUT thing to say.

And what was our best ever 10th position in a season....let's pat that coach on the back too!

Or better still.....how about when there was only a Final Four on the League Ladder......let's go and find our best 5th Finish.......and go praise that coach like that's some sort of achievement, irrespective of where the team finished the year before.

Well, I never said it was anything to bar up over...

Probably neither did Wallace. If he did say that this was our best ninth, it would have been in the context of question after question by tools saying "So you're ninth again..."

Don't know about that quote Delib, but I did hear Wallace say that this years position was unacceptable to those around the club, which is a good thing to hear.
