Ever heard the expression "Great head for Collingwood"?

Ugly little rat.

Rats don't deserve the dishonour.

Shame on you for belittling them like that. :thumbsd:

Didak's shot was a drive-by, not simply head-high contact on a bump.

It was a disgusting incident, in what had been a good game.

Much like the Byron Pickett hit when the new system first came in, I'd suggest the incident should go directly to the tribunal.

5-8 weeks is the only fair remedy for that hit. Totally unacceotable and the AFL must send that message.

Pretty pathetic.

You should have seen some of the replies I recieved from some of the ferals over at Nicks board when I left a positive message about Dale Thomas earlier in the year.

Ill never return .:thumbsd:

While I don't condone the lack of diplomacy from some of the Blues supporters, I honestly don't know what else you would expect Lonie.

You are half being diplomatic but also throwing in jibes in response. The boys are heated, we were royally screwed by the umpires and not just the obvious ones either, the 50/50s and the non-calls were just as telling, especially when they were paying them down the other end merely seconds later. Several two goal turnarounds today really stifled our momentum.

You so badly want everyone to say 'well done Collingwood' instead of bagging them but that isn't going to happen the night after such a controversial game. To throw in cries of arrogance, being pathetic, being cheats, and basically defending the umpiring .... well this is the Carlton board and your indignation is a little naive.

Best leave this thread alone I think.

Didak may be holding a chainsaw at present time, yet it is after the contact, so is irrelevant isn't it. Pretty bad example, but after the contact is not during the contact, therefore, it shouldn't be bought up. Here is a pic atleast 1 second after the contact.

It appears that Scotty may have been a little off balance and therfore unfortunate contact was made. Glad to see he was OK.

Come on guy's can't we all get along?

Scotland was not off balance, he was running sideways with the ball, saw Didak, pulled up hoping Didak would overrun him and Didak collected him on the way through.

Obviously I'm not welcome on here, as it seems with your appropriate comebacks, and I think I have made my case, and will visit to see the replies and see if anyone is as arrogant and sore as some of you, despite the acknowledgement by myself to your own.

It's not that you're not welcome, LF50, it's just....... your timing stinks. :p

Now get back in your filthy cage! ;)

Ha ha! I think 4blues summed it up pretty well when he called you a tosser!!

I might be a tosser for coming on this board, but I also one of the most respected posters on the site (apparantly) because of my unbias views, so take it as you see it, but don't read into the name and club before calling me names. I could expect this from the Blues board because of the display yesterday, but there are some Carlton posters who I hold in high regard because of there top posting and credability, however there are many on the other end of the scale. One reason why one of the greatest posters on this site (mojo) left!!!

Grow up!

Have you looked at the replay buddy? She certainly had her elbow up after the initial contact.

Yes - After the contact. When contact was made Dids had his arm tucked in and feet on the ground - will probably still get 1 for unduly rough play.

Interesting post. Has it all – delusions of grandeur (“I'm also one of the most respected posters on the site”), and a little honestly (“I might be a tosser”), and a bit of sucking up (”One reason why one of the greatest posters on this site”). Although his football knowledge is a little limited, I actually enjoy this guys prolific Collingwood overhype monologues – he can even make a Jason Cloke or Fanning seem like a top-3 draft pick. Quite hilarious. I suspect what’s getting him a little upset is Didak’s early preseason and the Pies lack of leg speed, that we exploted before the 2nd quarter Goldspink 4 goal burst. :)

Do you want a medal? I am only calling it how I see it and am entitled to my opinion.

i have just been reading your comments degrading Didak..scum,rat,girl ect ect...you Carlton supporters make me laugh...how many of you (and be honest here) would not jump at the chance to have him in your team...Best on ground yesterday by a mile...:thumbsu: :D

What I can say is though, on top of that is that Collingwood got on a roll after some goalsquare free kicks, but umpires never made the mistake. Contact to the head means free kick in the rule book, and Collingwood, thanks to Didak, were on a receiving end of a fantastic team effort from the Blues in sticking up for a team-mate, but our boys stuck with the game while your mob continued to look for trouble, hence Whitnall and Bannister.

Hmmm..........Life is all about perspective, and selective memory. Now I have a different take on events.
Didak snpies (in an act of Bravery to rival Darren Milburn).....Eddie kicks goal of the year.
Ball back to the centre where Collingwood players pinged for free kick in the centre for "sticking with their game' (the plan having been revealed by young Allan).
Ball goes into blues fwd line where Fev is taken to ground in a presti headlock while attempting to mark. Pay the free and blues go up 62 - 35, with two goals in a row and all the momentum.
No kick for Fev, but 10 mins later a shove from Lance in response to a headbutt (Mooney got a week earlier this year for similar - although with Didak standing at 4 foot nothing it only hit Lance's belly button) gives Didak a gimme.
Holland gave one (should get 1 week), and then DID NOT SEE THE REPLY COMING!! Note brodie, if you are going to slug someone and then go to sleep, don't make it Bannister - the kid could throw three before you blinked.

The fact that Hollands jaw wasn't broken should go to evidence for Bannister, that he didn't want to hurt him but just defended himself as any boxer would. If he wanted to hurt Holland it would be soup through a straw on GF day for Brodie!!

In summary -the umps could have taken control immediately after the incident, awarded Fev the kick he deserved, but instead let it intensify. The allowed Rocca and co to shove in the back their way to a win.

Very disappointing, but have gotten use to it this year.

The hype will say that because he started the emotion eruption. In truth he got on the end of some uncontested marks for his goals and got his face on camera a lot by knocking into Walker from behind and then getting the typical retaliator free kick. No force in the things Didak did but it is still sniping and it is still designed to get free kicks that he doesn't deserve.

For mine Simpson was better than Didak ... by a mile.

I'll be honest and say yes I'd love to have him in my side, He's turning into a great player, One of the best on ground yesterday. Would you consider him good player with the reputation of a cheap-shot artist that tries to dig his boots into peoples nuts if played for someone else?

i hate didak so much!!! ARGHHHH head conduct = at least a week. i just wanna start layin into him
