Hawkins and Wojcinski named in best in the VFL. And Mackie, Kelly, Rookes to come baack into the side. So who will be the unlucky players dropped?
IMO Prismall has done enough to earn his first finals guernsey, so he should stay.
Byrnes, Varcoe and Gamble could be the unlucky ones to go for Mackie, Kelly and Rookes.
Hawkins and Wojcinski emergencies?

it's just Rooke mate, he's not plural.
I feel the same way about Prismall, but Wojack's in our best 22, so pris will probably make way for him, and he'll be stiffer than a honeymooners tadger if he does. Only way Pris possibly gets a run is if they drop Harry for Mackie, but then you still got one too many midfielders assuming Kelly 's right to go.

Varcoe and Byrnes definite outs. Tough after that could any one of Prismall, Gamble or Taylor (hopefully not but we've done it before). I can't see us making 4 changes before a final. Even three is not preferable.

No mention of a possible Stokes outting here

Out: Byrnes Varcoe Gamble
In: Rooke, Mackie, Wojcinski, Kelly

one of Pris and Taylor to be dropped depending on team requirements, and players who may be sore. if one of the mids is to play slightly underdone or at risk, prissa will be included. taylor will play against the like of saints and the dawks where they have a tall forward line

nothing else bar injury will occur, and thommo has said enough, however hope prissa and taylor and prissa each get a final

Bomber and Balme have both stated that Wojcinski is pretty much a certain starter.

Kelly and Mackie are walk-up starts in our best 10-15 players, regardless of which fringe players need to be dropped for them.

Rooke has been somewhat out of favour with the selectors this season and has been dropped a couple of times. Is he a certainty to be brought into the side? I would think so - his hardness/toughness is the perfect stuff for finals.

So, to me, it does look like there will be four changes.
Stokes already has demerit points over his head and is therefore likely to get a week. If he does, this is what I can see panning out:

IN: Kelly, Mackie, Rooke, Wojcinski
OUT: Stokes (susp.), Byrnes, Varcoe, Gamble

Varcoe and Gamble were relatively quiet in a 99 point win yesterday and are possibly too young/inexperienced for finals at this point. Byrnes shouldn't have even played as he was a late inclusion for Mackie. The selectors had opted for Prismall over Byrnes during the week and there is no doubting that Prismall was the better of the two yesterday.

If Stokes gets off at the tribunal unfortunately Prismall will make way for him - would be a shame because he has been excellent for the last month.
Taylor is needed against the Saints' tall forward line - they even had King playing in the forward line for periods of today's game.
