I haven't had him there all year. But we're starting to get some bodies back now. There's no room to carry payers anymore.
Ben
We have been carrying Melksham for half the season - And we had more options eight weeks ago.
No, we haven't.
Melksham doesn't have AFL fitness to fulfill his role in the team - And this caused the TRB to giving him stints at HF/HB.
It's not about possessions.
The whole problem is in the midfield so I'd be pretty disappointed if we only made one change there. Ben dropping/removing Dell and Davey is interesting to me. The problem with playing 2-3 small forwards is, when your midfield gets beaten, you're basically down 2-3 players 'cause they just can't do anything. I wouldn't mind Jetta being the only one and bringing in another midfield rotation
Or maybe his role in the team isn't full time midfield, hence why he's playing up forward.
Should play our most defensive side possible and put this game as a write off and focus on getting players fit for Kangas Richmond and Carlton
B: Hardingham, Carlisle, Pears, Heppell, Watson, Melksham, Baguley, Browne, HowlettAgreed. Every Essendon player should remain in the defensive 50 at all times barring Davey (CHF).
