I've been travelling, so haven't heard anything about the West Coast game. How did Djerrkura go this week? Was he used more in the back line this time, or still playing forward/mid?

Ok in patches, delivered a nice long pass inside 50 to Ablett on a lead. tackled and harrassed nicely but probably needs to contribute more to hold his spot.

One thing i'm noticing is the combination of Byrnes, Varcoe and Djerrkura is really disrupting opposition rebound a lot.

The fact that he is 9cm shorter, 3 kilos lighters, 2 years older and no matter which way you jumble the letters in his name you will never get Jack Watts :p:p

Djerrkura is 9cm shorter than Watts? No way in the world is Jack Watts only 185cm.

A bit quieter in the WC game but still did enough to persist with.
Comparing him to Varcoes early game's its obvious that he is far more aggressive and confident with less of the finish that TV had. I feel sure he could develop into a high impact player in the way Rooke impacts a contest , but he will have to work on his ball skills.

Yep, good summary mate. Might like his skills to be a little better given this is his 3rd year, but I guess the VFL can only take you so far. That kick to Ablett was an absolute pearler, so the talent is there.

yep the talent is there he will be agood player in the blue n white hoops.he's a hard little nut maybe in time he could be moved down back and play on those speeding little buggers or with trav playing up the ground he could take travs old spot but with rooke, corey, harls.to come back in there might not be alot of room left

Love players who will stand-up when the going gets tough and I reckon he's one who will. He also adds some leg speed which will be handy as many of our players aren't that quick. He needs top level game time to feel part of the unit and become accustomed to the higher tempo and intensity. I'd be disappointed if he wasn't persevered with.

I agree but I'm not sure how we're going to do it. There's only 22 spots and Rooke, Corey, Harley, Taylor and Ottens are to come back in along with Hunt next year. Yet nobody deserves to be dropped.
