I still think our best is good enough ....we will need to click on game day

The fact we are home for a while really does help

The crowd in that first final needs to get a little nastiness to it ....?No a use but intense

If you don't go home with a sore throat you haven't helped our team ....get loud and get noisy - get intense
Boo the opposition into submission.

Nah just loud "ball" calls

Anger at and decisions by the umps ...yell and scream ....make the place noisy

Make it a goal ...go home with a sore throat mentality needs to be what fans aim for

The 23rd Man is important

From recent memory the past finals at home were quite loud.
v North and blues
Holy crap that Carlton game was loud. I was there and I remember starting to take footage with my mobile phone at about the 30 minute mark of the last quarter hoping to catch the crowd reaction come siren-time. It ended up being a bloody long video.

I went the North Melbourne final in 2012 as general public. As long as you're on the ball it's definitely possible to get tickets as a non-member.

Same here.

That was a great day

Yep it was insane. I remember Beau waters being interviews and he said that was the loudest crowd he could remember.

Can anyone elaborate further on this? I would love to make this game but im not a member. Just feel like this will be an absolutely electric final and I wanna be a part of it if I can.

I've only ever gone to finals as a memeber, and either sat on the phone for hours (05) or gone online with my membership barcode (2011 & 2012) but I'd say your best bet would be find out exactly when general public can get online access to tickets, and just be prepared, and online right at the start time, and give it a go.

There's your answer............... index.jpg

t if both eagles and dockers win the first week, then we will have to play the preliminary final at the MCG right?

No, that rule was abolished years ago, possibly 10 years ago, in 06 there was a PF in Adelaide & the other in Sydney. I don't know where people are hearing this rubbish from? Must be from a Victorian Journo who has no idea anymore........so likely all of them

so the AFL have dropped their "must have a match at the MCG every week" rule?

Nah, there's still a quote of finals which need to be played at the MCG(not including the GF), I think it's 10 over a 5 year period. They're apparently ahead on schedule for meeting that quota so there shouldn't be too many concerns at this point.

Edit: Beaten. :P

If you don't aim to win the flag you'll never win one ....

You must have a Goal in life .....and that's to be the best you can at whatever you do and afl teams are no different

One bad game v crows doesn't affect our goal nor our ability to win it

Quick bit of research because my 90s history wasn't perfect. We have finished 1st 3 times in our history and won the premiership each time. We have also finished second once and lost the GF. Point is that we should at least make the GF if history means anything given our top 2 finish

Not quite true. Finished 1st in 1991 but lost the GF
