Yep, Robbo talked about it as being a WA thing before Scott jumped in and said "I think those numbers are just for West Coast, they're a lot more balanced for Freo" (FWIW we've won 1 FK count all season at Optus, and that was 22-21). Richardson was acutely aware of the problem as well and they discussed this intimidating noise and how the umpires have even acknowledged it.

In the end I can see us getting hosed again this week as the umpires come over here with this idea that they won't be intimidated on their mind.

I feel they really **** up the seating at the new stadium. All the classic loonies in my block are gone. Im surrounded by old people now that barely make any noise. There are a very friendly bunch of ex teacher nannas in front of me though that offer us home made things so they are cool. I miss the Bell man and the man that had a teddy bear dressed as a docker that he would wave in the air madly after every goal.

They didn't **** up, it was done on purpose. I used to sit front row at Subi and I'm definitely the get angry kind of supporter. My "like for like" seat offering at the new stadium was three rows from the back of the top tier.

I heard that it got changed because the players complained about getting hit by foam flying from the side of your mouth.
