actually, that's wrong. 2 goals a game for marking medium forward is a very good return, as you'll see if you look around the league.

You're probably right. I've nothing against Welsh and he did play some good footy for us, so I'll leave this one alone. If he plays 3 years with the Bullies without a miss, it might be worth a re-visit.

Would be very handy now. Disappointing part for us is that 2007 was his best year for us. Had matured. Did it when it counted. Single-handedly won a game v Carlton in Melbourne with his accurate kicking under pressure. Welsh would be an interesting case study into what age a forward line player is in their prime. Experience continues to be an under-rated commodity.
