Listen to the news on either the television or radio most days.

If I'm interested in a particular saga, I'll research further via google and find relevant information.

Plenty of sites out there that provide info.

Had to answer my own Q's first!

Topic was brought up on Media Watch tonight...Jon Holmes last night and begged us all to buy one subscription to any of them to save journalism.

Which makes me wonder why?

Aren't we all journalists now?

I knew more in real time about the Boston Bombing hunt via Reddit.

Interesting thoughts and future coming...

I have a HS subscription, but when the $1 for the first month expires I'll be looking at physical subscriptions to both major papers.

The amount of sport & the quality of the coverage is worth it. Even if it's just so I can choose to watch a different game on a Saturday night instead of listening to ******* Brian Taylor.

Yes, I agree, but outside of the Sports package that provides live events, it is a total waste of money.

No i'm not interested. This guy knocked on my door on friday evening trying to get me to sign up to the Age.... LOL.

I'm not that person who watches the news or reads newspapers.

If what they call "journalism" these days was worth paying for, I would pay for it.
