I agree as long as they Behave and Play Good Footy then I don't really care what they do but if is interfering with there AFL Carrer then it's very different. As you might say is happening with Wood

We dont know if that is the reason for wood

Wood has talent - not sure if he has a ton of talent.

As for the laziness thing - he was one of the players that accompanied Didak to Arizona a week early last year for the pre-season training camp - this suggests to me that not only is he not lazy, but that he is willing to work hard to improve himself.... and if this continues the results will come.

Ruckmen usually take longer to mature - have a look at Darren Jolly as an example - he struggled to make his mark at Melbourne, but in the last year and a bit he's become a very good player.

After a while you start to sound like a broken record in saying this; but we need to be patient.

I didnt pay much attention to Jolly's development but he's certainly seemed to be the real deal in the recent Hawthorn game. Time will tell. I hope someone can get into Wood's head and ignite some spark in him so we can see more of the promise seen in the NAB preseason against West Coast. At that time I was looking forward to more of his newly found form then it disappeared just as quickly as it appeared...

In the short term can someone at least organise him a regular legover for him so he can iron out some of the mental kinks and feel more like a man instead of a mouse.

i stand by the fact that we got duped by Brisbane and WAY over paid for a ruckman that has moderate skill and shows little desire...

i know the big boys take longer to develop - but Wood IMHO hasn't shown anything to suggest i am wrong

Lethal confirmed my suspicions, commentating one of our games earlier this season.

Lions didn't think Cam Wood was going to make the grade, so they were actually happy to offload him in the end.

Unfortunately, we didn't use a later pick, and will pay for it now.

Cam Wood is another Guy Richards i'm afraid.
