Loved what the bottom 6 did. McNeil needs that belief. Poulter was BOG early.
Baker had moments, but he’s the one to replace. He just panics a bit. Tough as nails though.
Vandermeer is not taking the sub role well. I loved his start to the year. Give him a week or two in the twos and get him back to what he was providing early this year.
Naughty’s redemption arc is Oscar worthy. He’s going to have his best season despite being down for a fair chunk of the first half of the season.
Bailey Williams adds so much to us as a wing. He’s one of the best in the comp, keep him there.
Next week is a danger game, but win that and win it well, the Eagles aren’t the team that made us look stupid a couple of years ago (and they want a priority), the bully Freo like we did last year.
Top 4 has gone begging again, but we’ve been there twice before from 5th to 8th.

Harmes to VDM seems an obvious move for next week.

Im going to restate something I said about Darcy at the start of the season.

He's going to collect more goals from free kicks than any player in the history of the game such is the difficulty full backs are having with his competitiveness, athleticism and height.

It feels like he's currently on world record pace.

The thing about his slow start to the season is that he was still busting his arse out there when it just wasn't falling his way.

Theres a lesson in there somewhere.

I think the umps got the message tonight. They were letting way too many obvious frees to Darcy go recently, probably because they don’t think it’s a good look letting a bloke kick a cricket score off free kicks. Picked up the obvious ones tonight.

Sam Taylor is one of the best full backs in the league and he didn't have an answer for Darcy. Outside of teams having one tall hold onto him while the other tall intercepts or just being allowed to chop arms all day there isn't anything that can be done.
