What's a more skillful game re Aussie Rules or football/soccer? And do we under value football/soccer in Australia?

No, Australian soccer is valued correctly. AFL in Australia is the best of the best whereas soccer is several steps below that with all the stars exclusively playing in foreign leagues save for a handful of international matches. I'll watch and enjoy soccer on the few occasions when all the guns are running around for the socceroos, but the A-league lacks the same class. It's not like I haven't given it a go either having been to a handful of A-league matches. I've also been to a handful of storm games and much prefer watching rugby league over soccer as a domestic sport.

I love soccer.. have only ever been to 3 games over the course of the A-League cause it's plain shit.

It's a pity we're not exposed to real football.. we have to deal with the crap the A-League dishes out.

Bring the EPL and all its players over here.. over time the EPL will take over the AFL. I'd put a gorilla on that re.

I think Gimpy and I were more about the elite levels of soccer being above our footy.
Love both games.
Easily prefer Collingwood winning over any soccer team.
But world football is elite skill as well at the high levels.

It’s a pity we’re rarely exposed to it though, especially those like me who lack foxtel. As you say some of the ball skills are amazing; with a much bigger pool to draw talent from its no surprise.

Put the sucker down there but because of it's design couldn't get a good seal. Shitter bloke says she'll be right & turns on the pump.

Hose convulses, stops & then explodes & the gusher covers me in 3yr old vintage shit!!

Not joking, covered 70% of my body & even had splashes on my backdoor steps & side of house 5m away.
