Told her that I gave her a $50 which she denied, said it was a $20, and we went to and fro. Asked to do a register check/balance and I think she would find that it is $30 over. Told me that was not possible as it would mean counting thousands! (Think that may have been a lie).

When she saw I wasn't going anywhere, said that they have cameras (recording off-site) and she would check, meanwhile giving me strange looks.

After 20 mins, finally came back to me and begrudingly apologised, giving me my $30.

Not sure what would have happened if they didn't have cameras. Her word against mine.

I was seriously thinking 'good-bye $30', this is despite a friend who had been waiting for me coming in to see what the hold up was and told the woman that I only had $50's from the ATM.
She didn't believe her either.

If not for the camera, how do you prove it?

Swan to play between 4 and 10 games. Currently confirmed games April 21 (clash with Coll VFL @ Vic Park), April 25 (clash with Coll v Ess), May 26 (Coll VFL @ Whitten Oval 11am) and August 11 (Coll v BL 7.25pm). Either of the last two may make a good double header with Collingwood matches, even if May 26 might be a tight with only around 30mins between games.

The Brownlow medallist and 2010 AFL premiership player signed with his junior club in November and will take to the field for the Tigers against Tullamarine at Willowbrook Reserve in Round 2 on April 21 before backing up against Oak Park on Anzac Day.

Swan has also committed to play in Round 7 against Craigieburn on May 26 and Round 17 against Airport West on August 11, which would make him eligible for finals if Westmeadows qualified.

While the 34-year-old star midfielder has media and travel commitments, he is in Melbourne for 12 of the Tigers’ fixtures.

“We’re looking to squeeze him in for anything between four and 10 games,” Westmeadows coach Grant Smith said.

“He was quiet in the first couple of weeks, but now he’s got to know a few of the players he’s really helpful when we break into our lines and takes control a fair bit.”

There would be no issue for them to do a till balance. Any Point Of Sale software could tell you what you should have in the till at any time of the day.
I think you just have proven the point that cash will be gone within 5 years.
Tap, or insert, card negates any issue. You see the purchase amount on the screen and decide to proceed or not.
The banks want to go cash free, the Government have stated they would get over 6 billion dollars more tax if we were cash free. (Hospitals would like a share of that!)
It’s going to happen, sooner than later.
