Where was Ottens? I don't remember him coming out with the team.
Definitely there, he was chatting at the back with Dasher and baby Dashers.

Corey was there too. No 11 didn't do much though.

Egan left the stage early, had trouble getting down the ramp (I was worried about him falling and injuring himself!!)

Cheers, I must not have noticed since the first few came out so quickly they barely had time to announce them. Was worried he might have repeated last years off season effort :):)

Was funny going back to the car afterwards and people were driving up and down Moorabool Street and Fyans Road either tooting their horns or hanging out the window yelling out "Go Cats!"

The whole town's going off, and it's f**king great!! :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Re: For ever Cat Supporter who is currently on Bigfooty...

Maxie is definitely NOT the guy I'd try to pinch it from! :) I think the guy eats broken glass and gargles battery acid.
Bit of an interesting thing I heard about Max - a mate of mine's father worked as security for the MCG. He's letting in all these players' parents and girlfriends, and Maxy's mum rocks up and says 'I'm Jarrad's mother.'

My mate's dad (lifelong Cats supporter) looks at her and says 'Don't ya mean Max?"

"No, it's Jarrad"

So Mrs Rooke dosen't call her son Max! Just thought it was an intriguing bit of info - then again, I'm still half cut!:D

Bit like Jimmy's Mum, she always has and always will call him 'James.'
But to me and probably to you guys too, James sounds weird now that I'm used to Jimmy.
Same goes for Max, Jarrad just sounds weird now.

Yeah, I remember thinking it was odd that Andrew Dimitriou called him 'James' when he called him out as winner of the Brownlow. His name's 'Jimmeh', ya dill:D!

I missed yesterday's family day. Would have been great to get there. One question for people who went. Was the day free?

I've read in the Hun today that Port charged non members $10 to enter their non event family day yesterday.

If it was a free day, which I think it was, the Geelong Football Club and the Board must be congradulated.

A great day and great to see so much blue and white there. Could have had a few more food vans though...

TOTALLY AGREE! had to line up for over half an hour to get a cold pie...had to do a maccas run on the way home!
Some woman told me they took maccas off a kid as he entered.. or told him he couldn't bring it in, since when can't you bring food into the ground, absolute joke.

My word, and maybe more than one ATM for 30,000 people, and maybe not put merch tents in both goal squares.

Fantastic day though, the crowd were great and well behaved, the rain was fantastic and decided to pass straight over the ground rather than dumping down on us, It was great that they eventually opened up the Hickey Stand too, not that I sat in there, but the ground was getting quite full.

Also, Corey Enright you all star, "FOURTY-FOUR!" plus the roll onto the stage without spilling a drop of his drink was sensational, BOG in my opinion.

One of those tents wasn't merchandise, it was a thing where you could get a photo with the cup...for a cheap 25 bucks! And it was placed right in front of the goals, where the kids were trying to play

Saw em take some pizza off a bloke too. We took food in, home prepared stuff, they didn't bother us.

Vlad apparently called him James because that's what his mum calls him (at least that's what he said).

The club seemed a little underprepared for it, but having said that I guess it's a bit understandable - I don't think anyone expected how emotional it would become and how many people would get caught up in it.

As I said earlier, I thought it was a terrific day.
