That might be true but if thats the case then we will take Curtin and WC will miss out on both...If Reid goes to the Dees then he goes to the Dees. It would still mean that either way we wouldn't get him ..

I'd prefer to draft local in the top 3 after jhf to be quite honest.

North can't trade for stars of the game. We tried and failed miserably.

After 4 bottom 2 finishes, im thinking Reid is that marquee name that a rebuild this deep needs for fans, media to get excited about.

We lost him for chunks with either injury or him being suspended. Great our leader who is frequently missing through chunks. And when we played without him we all just got to see more from the younger guys, the fact that we didn’t miss him was concerning. Or at least should be

A compo pick for McKay pushes that 5 (which has already become 6) into a pick 7, and a bid match on Sanders makes it pick 8.

So yeah, their decision is pick 2 versus pick 8 plus next year's pick 16-20 ish. It's a no-brainer.

why do we always have to offer more ? It should be a straight trade. West Coast take either Reid or Curtin and we take the one remaining...No need to offer any other picks...Its a win, win for both clubs...l wish people would stop including other picks that we have..

There will be a late shuffle of picks for sure just to make it sellable to fans and the media. It won't be a trade pick 2 for pick 1 because there's no need to even do that, you just walk into the draft and pick the #2 ranked kid with your pick 1. So it's either no trade, or a trade involving later picks.

Yeah and those 20 games in between, I didn’t see much influential stuff to say to the players ‘hey guys, come with me’

I’m not criticising him for being concussed - that just seems to be quite normal for him for how he attacks the ball. But I am highlighting our captain in out quite frequently. Wrongly or rightly. He is still putting himself in danger and finding himself on the wrong end of it.
But as it stands, and it’s my view. Both he and Luke have plateaued. And I don’t see he or Luke being a make or break during game day. I’m seeing them as being more one dimensional players that can be replaced quite easily.

Larky be for this year no AA but still has been a great player. Using AA and Brownlow's and similar awards are or can be misleading to the value of some players in my opinion

So seven games in six seasons, three of those because of mandatory concussion protocols. One cause he was dropped to the VFl (in 2019) and one cos he was suspended for a jumper punch.

Your view is completely wrong. But that's okay, you're allowed to be wrong.

I’d prefer my on field leader not to expend so much energy shithousing the opposition every game in a side that’s won about 6 games in 60.

It’s embarrassing and frankly cringe worthy.

The jumper punching, wrestles, regular 50’s he gives away is neither tough, nor putting his body on the line, or flying the flag

Its school yard, juvenile crap from an AFL captain.

He should be the on field team member putting a stop to it, not the instigator of it most weeks.

Another reason why he’s not up to the job ontop of his clear onfield limitations.

LDU in just about every metric possible was a top 10 player in the league this year when he played.

Cunners is one of the greatest contested ball winners ever.

They are absolutely not comparable.

Correct with everything you just said hence why AA jumpers should not be used as a gauge of someones career. Cunners should have had a wardrobe full of them. doesn't make him any less a champion of the game cause he has none.
