Just wondering with draft approaching what are your priorities?
Midfielder, Ruckman, KP forward/defender, utility, small forward.

I think Melbourne really need a KPF but in terms of best available most the guys around there 1st pick will be mids (which is probably their strongest area).

Morton would be a good get if he falls through to pick 4 (:D) as he could be developed into a foward. Is skinny right now but is good overhead and can kick the ball through the middle from 60.

Does he have red hair? If so we've already got one except 50 is probably the limit for Bate.

Anyone over 190cms drafted by Melbourne should be locked in a weights room for one year, then allowed to train in the defensive group the next.

Neitz, Newton, Robertson and Bate >>>>> Carroll, Rivers, Frawley, Ferguson, Miller, Holland, Warnock and the list goes on

KP all the way! Our midfield is okay that is definately the area we need to improve. Take a punt on a few of them and hopefully one or two work out... plus we might get a bargain surprise like Westoff

what we need is a big forward, lance franklin like, to supply a big presence up forward with neita set to play probably his last season in 08, another solid defender, a running player for off the half back line and a new young ruck man. hopefully jeff white will be played at CHF this year to prolong his career leaving jamar and paulo to take care of the ruck with possibly a new ruckman coming through in the draft.. our midfield, lead by brock, jones, johnstone, mcdonald, bruce and green looks set for a good season.

This is just about the most sensible thing I've read on out board.Build the skinny buggers up to win the contested footy. I sat front row level 1 by interchange at Telstra Dome with my Bulldogs mates when the Dogs played Geelong and then West Coast. I was struck by just how big( muscular) almost every player Geelong and Eagles player is. We all know how good both those sides are this year.
I remember all too well how the Bombers crashed and bashed Melbourne aside in the 2000GF. All premiership teams are big and strong without exception.
Build them up Dean Bailey.Fit/fast,Big and Strong Mr Bailey. That's what I want to see.
My bulldogs mates almost cry how skinny their team is after 3 years under Eade.
Build entire list uo not just those over 190cm.
Go Dees

Draft a fast, classy midfielder and trade for Jamie Graham/Ryan Murphy as KP players as they won't take 3 years to get to a decent physical size.
