Draft preview 2007 Midfielders

Lets see how many times have i seen him play. Nine this season. His kicking as far as hitting targets go is ordinary. He had 3 turnovers by foot last week against Rangers in the first 3/4 i saw. Against the Bushrangers he had 6 turnovers. The second last game against Geelong Falcons he had 5. Thats just in the last 3 games i saw him play. 14 turnovers by foot is not great. He is very suspect under pressure. There is no doubting he can kick it a long way but in todays football you just have to be able to hit targets. He simply has too many turnovers.

Thoughts on Arrowsmith today? I saw the 2nd half and I counted one missed target by hand. No missed targets by foot.

And on a side note, the Calder v Northern game was one of the best TAC games I have seen.

Turned over one early but was generally better. Kicked a few high balls to contests but overall he was on the good end of his kicking scale. He hit a few forwards on the chest today which was a good sign his confidence was up.

Over the past few weeks Arrowsmith was one of the kids who was hit with the virus that went through the club. Joyce played well too.

Matthew Quinton. Played probably his best game for a few weeks. He is a kid i like a bit as a defender. His kicking isnt always great but he is a good size and when he is playing well he is a strong mark as you said.
