Good question.

I know the doors open at 5:30 CST and the broadcast starts at 5:30 CST but I'm unsure when the draft actually starts.
Cal Twomey reckons around 6:30 for pick one.

EDIT: that MAY be Melbourne time???

Not so sure it's their player identification & selection that's at fault. I strongly suspect that it's a failure with their player development once they've got them into their system.[/QUO
true to a degree

They also have Jason Taylor now who is much more impressive , don't reckon they will stuff their picks

Nothing ....Zilch ....Zero information coming out about Burtons testing last week ?

All Weidemans results came out, but nothing on Burton ?

From what i can gather, Burton did a medical rather than any testings. So they can put numbers to Weidemans results. Burtons not so much

What about if Curnow and Milers are both available with our 1st pick, who do you take?

Great point .....there's athletic speed, and footy speed .......I've seen quick players only run straight lines get caught, and slower players who weave and run laterally, or sidestep who opposition players just can't lay a hand on
This has been our problem for ages. We never seem to have guys who have good lateral movement. Straight line speed certainly has merit like Danger, but he wasn't able to use it anywhere near enough for my likely. Yes part of it was because he didn't find himself on the outside in space, but the other part is due to the fact he had poor lateral movement. He'd have quicker straight line pace than Rioli & Jetta etc, but he couldn't use it because he was only able to run quick in straight lines. Guys who can change direction at near top speed are the most dangerous ie McLeod.

Hey guys, long time no post.

Just some info I've had for a while, Crows offered pick 9 and pick 13 to Brisbane for Schache and a later pick. Brisbane seriously considered it due to their academy commitments and it almost got done, but Brisbane reneged at the last possible moment. :(

Anyhow, I'm liking what I'm hearing about who we're interested in tomorrow :)
Can you give us some names?

Could depend on our read of who Carlton and Richmond are likely to take. You'd imagine Carlton would want Curnow, so we'd have to way up if Carlton/Richmond would take Milera. If not, we could conceivably get both if we take Curnow first.
Also, say McKay and Burton are off the board, but Ah chee is still there, and we want a runner and a tall, we could grab Curnow, then get either AhChee or Milera with the next pick.
This is the 100 scenarios thing that recruiters talk about. It's not necessarily just your own pick that you have to think about, you have to consider the permutations of that pick and whether that effects your next pick.

Rory Atkins has elite agility , watch his draft vault highlights on AFC.com ... Not overly quick but hard to catch

The 2015 NAB AFL Draft is finally here. I've released four Big Boards and one Mock Draft up until this point, going as far back as April.

The top two picks have been set in concrete for some time, but there is a raft of changes after that, all the way down the order in what is by far the toughest Mock Draft I have ever had the misfortune of trying to complete!

Would LOVE this.
Under the assumption that Emma Quayle's is due tonight? Very keen to X-reference it with Twomey's
