[On The Crouch]

A part of me hopes that we pick up 2 kids who can make an impact next year to help deal with the loss of Danger. This would more than likely rule out KPPs.

If we can upgrade our liability players such as MacKay, VB, Henderson with players like Hampton, Seedsman, Menzel etc in addition to a fit Brad Crouch then hopefully we can improve our team overall. Then add someone through the draft like a Milera or Francis we should improve our best 22 as well as have greater depth.

On the contrary .....I'd be happy to take Burton at #13 as long as his medical is undisputable

The question is his leaping, speed and agility ......if any is affected by the broken leg then Burton becomes a average height, average footballer

If he can retain what made him a prospective top 5 pick then i'd gladly grab him

No I wasn't saying a young kpf would provide coverage in 2016 I was saying we simply don't have adequate coverage and it is a need. I'm aware a young kpf will take time. I think that actually supports my point.

However I still want us to go best available with 1st round picks. But to suggest a KPF isn't a need was interesting.

In that case your previous post makes even less sense.

We have better forward depth than most teams, with 3 solid KPPs already in the team, plus Otten and (to a lesser extent) Lowden, with 3 more in the development queue. Adding another to the development queue does nothing to address any (non-existent) shortcomings in our depth for 2016.

I guess we don't know who is coming in via trade/FA next year to really understand what our deficiencies are.

If Parker actually is, and Ben Jarman, and the draft next year lacks talls but is strong on mids... maybe we do take a KPP this year?

I agree though, I want to draft some midfield class.
