In two or three years, the draft order is irrelevant. What matters is you get what you want. We did reasonably well in the trade period, and got a couple players we clearly rate. One of them particularly exciting.

We have to respect that Ogilvie and his team know a lot better than we do. I didn't even know that he existed.

Having said that, you'd have to think that he could have easily slid down quite a few number of spots and still been there for us. If that was a reasonable chance then we should have traded pick 13 for two relatively high second round picks and got him and maybe a player like Bonner.

Our recruiting team obviously think he will develop into a very good player or they wouldn't have taken him. Lets hope they're right.

I'm starting to think Noah and Gibson could move on, spoilt for riches in the talls...

Just need to work out that guy in the number 1...

I think you can move Noah on and get something good in return. I think we will offer something ( hopefully not smart or Thomas) for him.

As for Gibson he's a solid back up. However you can trade him to Toronto for Terrance Ross who can be a replacement for Dunleavy.

Rose is very good , but it depends how his knee goes.

Firstly I'm stoked we picked up Milera, he will add a sidestep and evasiveness that will make our midfield look so much better.

I know we've bolted on Doedee, and I understand that we probably could have picked him up with a later pick but I have faith in Hamish's ability to identify talent. I get the feeling he's going to develop into a midfielder, the question to me is just how good of one. The last Falcon we picked early turned out to be a reasonable player......

What does it matter if we used our last pick at 13 or 60?

I'd understand the anger if we had a third pick later on, but we didn't.
