With the first I think McLeod might be the one based on the article, I reckon Angus Baker might by the 2nd pick. We have interest in Callow but can’t see him becoming available with Pies very keen

There has been reports stating the Pies are interested in Ned Moyle, with Gold Coast also wanting Moyle. So they may need to pick between Callow and Moyle which could give us a sniff

I was starting to agree with all the posters who wanted to give our current crop another year or two before rolling the dice again.

Maybe the club thinks that's where the best upside is.

That's all speculation. It may not be Hawthorn who convinced him to do that, but someone else wanting Hawthorn to pass on him.
