last year i tested this out last year and it worked well and could win you a weekly prize ..

sign up for DT and only pick 29 players and after week 3 your 29 players in your team go up and you have more money in your cap and each week you only put in the players that are on the rise in price and after a few weeks of getting your cap up to enough to have all the gun players you pick your 30 you lock it in and enjoy having a gun team that no one else could have

thats why you only save your team at 29 and not 30 and as the player goes up in price so does your money

and funny thing is theres nothing to stop this from not working unless they do a sportal dreamteam where u must pick ALL your team b4 u are aloud to save
 
If you only pick 29 players and not the full 30, you dont get any of the 29 players in your side. If they rise by money you also do not get this money. After round 3 when prices have risen, you will need to select a whole new 30 player which can include the 29 but they will cost different prices some will be more expensive and some will be cheaper. Im almost certain that this would not work. You do not get the money if you only select the 29 players.

yeah mate it works trust me what happens is ex: Gumby at $86,000 odd and u have him in the 29 saved team , his price say goes to $100,000 after his 3rd game and if u take him out of your team his $100,000 goes on to your money and giving you that extra $14,000 , so doing this with more players and more weeks will give your some very very nice cash and not using any trades what so ever , i tested this last year and worked 100%

1. it's clearly NOT cheating. if it's within the rules it's fair.
2. i think it will work. as long as you start off with 29 really good cash cows. that would take your budget way over $7,706,000 after prices start moving.
3. you will not win the overall major prize. your first 3 scores (or, however long you wish to wait) will be 0pts because the team was incomplete. no matter how good your new squad of 30 is, you'll never catch the leaders.

You are only allowed 20 trades though so if you cop a few injuries you will run out of trades. You could easily get 10 star players though but that is like every team come the end of the season.
 
Yeh you would have to pick all cash cows to make it work, but why would you anyway? Even if you won a weekly prize, if hardly be satisfied knowing i jipped the system? And i always play for overall rank, or to beat my mates (in both total points and league), and i enjoy seeing which selections i got right and wrong. But if you play for a pot luck chance at a weekly prize by rigging the system, go for it!
 
i agree. i play dream team for the fun of it. i have never even thought about the prizes, probably coz im pretty shit at dream team anyway. there would be no point in dream team if ur cheating, or whatever u wanna call it.
 
If it does work than it is quite genius. The new system might not let you do this, this year. So lets say you pick all 86k 29 players. If they all play (i know unlikley but just example) and make 20k after round 3 does this mean you get 20 x 29 = 580k. Along with the huge amount you have left in your kitty anyway. Than you just upgrade until you get a star studded side of 22 players.

This means you would at least need to start with 2 very good players from the start still to get this and mayeb even more due to injuries.

Nah, wouldnt you still have unlimited changes to your team?
 
why change the squad after rd3 ?

why not wait 10 rounds for your 29 cash cows to max themselves out.
if you could make 100k on each player, you'll have an extra 2.9mil on top of your 7.706mil to begin with.

then, swap your entire squad for a team of guns. you'll even have access to any bottom end player ready to take off in price.

on top of that, you'll have all 20 trades for the run home.

Won't work. You only have 20 trades - I doubt many 'rookies' are going to get around the 400K price to swap for a Cox or Bartel. You'd get maybe 13 guns. Most teams by round 11 have about 13 guns anyway. Plus what's to say that all 29 players will improve in price? Lets say 20 of them do. That still means 9 don't - and if you need to trade to 'guns' you have to trade out the ones that are actually doing well. ahaha leaving you with 13 guns and 17 duds.
