Neither will be named round 1 because of the Gold Coast bye so really you'll just be guessing.

Even more reason not to pick one of them!

Thoughts on Stanley will be pretty confident of him playing, it seems mckenna will play the older boys first.

I know with the Thursday match it makes it tougher to name select rookies that are definitely named but Gold coast are even more difficult. Had a huge fist pump when GCS kicked the winning goal so we can have another look at their team.

Prestia didn't seem to be doing much and as a DP link I'd imagine he would be pretty popular.

With so many quality rookies Who will get the edge in each position.

Toy looked very composed...before he got injured.

Harris is looking a lot trimmer than he was at North.

Matera looked good.

Dixon, moved well but not sure he's ready for a full AFL season yet.

Yeah not disregarding Iles completely but with Swallow and Harris in Mids then Bennell Prestia (DP) it's tough to fit him in. Having said that if he is the one getting the games......

Smith is a bit overrated IMO, don't get all the hype over him. If Tapscott is fit, pick him because I reckon he'll get some game time. Watch his NAB form though. Did he play in rd 1?

You can make trades. You just won't be able to trade Richmond or Carlton players.
