Yeah, maybe... and I know he's had a few niggles throughout the year, but it's a bit rich for our captain to be on massive coin while preaching about everyone needing to take less to keep the group together to ensure every chance of long term success. It's hard to justify his pay packet on this year's form, and it makes it hard to complain when everyone else follows suit in demanding the big bucks.

True, but the coin being offered Dusty, if it's $500K odd, is about right and there comes a point where the player just needs to sign, as it can affect his form.

I highly doubt it. If it were that simple, I don't think the RFC would "not budge" on giving him an extra year, that would be stupid.

Are we sure Martin didn't get injured yesterday or was feeling sick. He spent most of the second and third up forward and everytime a blues player had the ball near him they took him on and he looked incredibly slow. I think there is something else going on.

While I probably agree with you, we don't know the ins & outs of it all. RFC might only want to do 2 years due to his behavior?

Basically said its way above what he's earning and he hopes the club pays him a million cos then we can't keep our other players.

Guys like Ellis etc will have a 200-300k contract and imagine how they feel about it? Dusty isn't that much better than them, and off-field he's much worse (leadership and behaviour). So why would we pay Dusty so much?

We need to stay firm with our final offer and not increase our final offer. It will piss a lot of players off if we do.

Ellis is a gun. Ran out of legs after 1/4 time yesterday but he had 7 touches 2 goals in the first. Amazing how far he's come since the Port game where he was fumbly and to put it nicely was crap.

Dusty is a Gun. Love the way he plays......... but he has been paid overs in the past couple of years due to us signing him under the threat of GWS RFC has done everything for this young man. The main problem I see is Ralph Carr. **** all clients these days and trying to get his commission from a Dusty contract. **** off Carr you ****ing campaigner. Dusty - grow the **** up!!!
