Interesting...he has not asked for a deadline, more media lies.

More interesting...Adelaide has told him they're going to bring forward the announcement date for the coaching position. That suggests to me it is NOT Craig, as they would be likely to let him finish out the season if they were going to choose him, just as a precaution.

I have a feeling Eade has wowed them so much they want to grab him before he goes somewhere else.

well thats good that he hasnt set a deadline for the crows to appoint someone.

He said Adelaide were very genuine in getting him, Triggy stressed Craig hasnt got the job.

They did not talk about contract negotiations.

Said Money will not be an issue.

For those who can't listen:

- He rates AFC "very highly"
- has had discussions with only Adelaide and Richmond
- Hawthorn is keen to talk soon, according to his manager (hmm, interesting, they haven't spoken yet!)
- has discussed the Sydney situation from 199 with AFC and it is not an issue
- re sotry in Advertiser about Eade asking for a decision within one week? - "totally incorrect"
- AFC has said they would rather do it sooner than later, no definitive timeframe but he is guessing it would be in "the next couple of weeks"
- how genuine was the interview process? He thinks it is genuine, Trigg has conveyed to him strongly about "rumour and innuendo" and "can't stress strongly enough" that it is a genuine process - Trigg said this at both interviews
- they (AFC) were very professional and "asked a lot of good questions"
- Wayne Jackson was not at meeting yesterday
- Collingwood? "A viable option" - is impressed with the role, but he said to them that coaching is his main priority but "you're not just going to coach for the sake of coaching"

Fair comments. My mail last week was that the date of announcement has been brought forward and he has confirmed that. He is pretty impressive I must say. Gets big tick from me for saying that money is the last tick and if you are in it for money you are in it for the wrong reasons.

He wants to keep draft picks. Wants to build for premierships not build a finalist side. Gets a HUGE tick from me:D

- he doesn't think Adelaide needs rebuilding; renovation; early picks important
- don't have to go back to square one
- plan to build for a premiership; not plan to finish 6th or 7th - aim for 2-3 years to challenge for a premiership
- What about the issue of "under the microscope in Adelaide"? - Probably more of an issue for a first time coach; you develop a hide after a while; not a real issue with him.

Eade hasn't given Crows the deadline. He is happy to wait :D

Good one Rucci. Keeping up his usual standard.

I also thought it was interesting that he has had no discussions with Hawthorn or the Bulldogs as yet.

What did everyone think of Rocket?

I thought he was very good, and IMO looks very promising that he will be the next coach of AFC.
I liked the fact he wants to utilise the early draft picks, so hopefully we will not be trading them away again.
Im starting to get excited again...

Hahaha! What a great little bunch of court reporters! I hope those at work / out of the state appreciate all that transcribing and summarising! :)

Yep, I was very impressed. A much better fit, in the way he presents, than Wallace.

Oh, please, let it be so.....
