From what I've seen he looks to be playing some OK football at the moment so you'd imagine there will be interest, but I can't see anyone parting with too much to bring him across.

I commented because I seriously want to know who he is? KPP? Mid? Forward? Back? Inside? Outside? Vic orginated? WA born? Where'd he go in the draft? Good skills?

I'll wait till someone can actually explain who Ed Langdon is before commenting again. Because weirdly I'd rather go off someone who's watched him play rather then just read stats.
He's mainly a half forward but he's shown throughout this year that he is capable of pushing through the middle and playing on the wing. His foot skills are good and he runs all day. I'd prefer to keep him then trade him because we won't get anywhere near his worth.

I dont think Port will go after him personally, but would be an upgrade on some of our mid depth (Colquhoun, Gray, Ah Chee)
if he is more of a HF, then we have that covered with Wingard, Young, Impey and Palmer

No offence but I don't think he'd leave Fremantle to go to port. If he leaves it's to a Victorian team (imo)

His last 5 games have been great, averaging over 20 touches and using the ball well. If we could win a game he might get a rising star nomination.
I've heard a straight swap of him for Marley Williams. But I dunno if I like the sounds of Harley Bennell, Marley Williams and possibly Brad Hill all being at Fremantle, could run an absolute muck ahaha

I can't believe how underrated Langdon is in this post.
He is one of the Dockers more impressive kids coming through.
I would think most of the Docker supporters would be loath to see him leave .

I would certainly like to keep him. He's got a strong body, is a good runner and kicks goals on the run. But if he doesn't want to stay then there is not much we can do about it. There is usually at least one Victorian club near the bottom of the ladder, so the PSD is always an issue.

Speaking on behalf of every Docker supporter, I think we are sadly resigned to him leaving and to getting under market value for him (we generally think he will be a very good player). Having said that, I would assume most AFL recruiters know a good player better than Bigfooty posters so there is a still a chance we can get a decent deal.
Personally, I think he should somehow been involved in the Brad Hill deal with a swap of late picks
I want him to stay, don't get me wrong. But it's up to him and I can see him wanting to move to Victoria in the off season. If we can trade Langdon for Brad hill and a swap of picks, I'll be happy with that.
