I have absolutely no idea how he's going to fit being the resident bigwig at Collingwood into a week thats already filled with being the resident bigwig at Channel 9/Friday night football/The Footy Show.
I can't see him hanging onto the host's spot on WWTBAM, he'd be taking way too much on if that was the case. And relocating to Sydney.. I don't know how he's going to do it. If I were a Collingwood fan I'd prefer him to stay 'in house' so to speak but with that said, good on him for getting the gig. Thats a huge achievement.

Surely Channel 9 aren't that daft, getting in an unqualified journalist to be their head man.No management experieince of a large organization.

he has just shot him self in the foot, if this is true. he wont manage with president of collingwood aswell as his on air commitments.

Spot on, we are talking about the day to day running of a business that turns over close to a $1 billion dollars a year. There is no way PBL would allow the CEO of C9 to have an on air presence, you just can't do it.
As for the President of Collingwood, no issue at all. Despite all the hype surronding these roles they really don't require a huge investment of time to do it right.
