I hope Keilor Park go well this year.

KP have some solid players there very intense trainers but need to put that work ethic on the patk come game day

I diagree i think ahmed still has alot to offer very explosive and knows how to use the ball. Age will not weary this fearce competitor.

yeah your right he is getting older and im not saying he is a premium footballer but maybe being in division 3 with haddy lacking talls and size in recent years he might just provide target down forward.

So how is all the clubs fairing so far this pre season? any pick ups for people to get their eyes on? thoughts on the top 4 so far?

Who is the best player in div 2

Jack pascu comes to mind i think he could certainly walk into any club. Hardness is an issue. But skills are phenomenal. Id like to see him at marby. Great outside mid alondside brendon hollow

Lyndon was a Marby Jnr. Only played a year of 18's at Moonee Valley.
Great job by MV though. They've also got some other handy youngsters playing in higher Divisions.

Should bring a good target. Could be a very good swingman. And has a pretty good engine. Time will tell how the lyndon deal plays out

Not sure this is true boys. Why would they walk out as most players there were recruited by the ex, ex coach (now President) and his still involved at KP. The recent coach Bubb has no issue with the club so it's full steam ahead to my understanding...

Just watching the news bulletin on TV and the arm found in the maribynong river has a devil tattoo which looks like a KP devil.. Interesting..

obviously didnt read my post mate.. never said he didnt have alot to offer just said that his not a premium B or A grade footballer but still very useful at this level.

Can't wait for round 1 to come around, will be interesting to see what each side has to offer, will East Sunbury's new recruits help them push for a finals birth, will jacana be able to make finals for the first time in a while

Round 1 can't come soon enough, will be interesting to see what each team has to put on the Park, will East Sunbury finally start pushing for finals with all the new recruits, will jacana finally make an appearance after a fair break from finals footy, will hadfield move down only to move straight back up or will Coburg, Roxy or kp be the team to beat?

Hearing some strong rumours out of Keilor Park they are close to signing 3-4 gun players (I'm not naming them as yet) which will create some interest in this division. The new coach and the chief are pretty excited about their chances for this year.
The real question is if they do happen to go up, can they survive as no point in going up then back down. Need stability and build a future for any clubs in div2..

Would take ages to go through each person, would be quicker to find out if anyone had heard of or knew anything about any potentially reasonable players coming into the division

Is it just by coincidence that Haddy seem to be playing Mernda where Jack Wallace and Josh Ksiazek went? Wonder if them two boys are going to get some extra attention from some of their old team mates.

Would be pretty sad and low if you organised a practice match and sent blokes out to sniper or rough up certain blokes.

haha well i play for hadfield and they organised the praccy together but it wasnt because we wanted to get back at them, we are all still good mates so of course theres gonna be some argie bargie between mates and abit of roughness but thats footy haha you always do that against mates, we'd never snipe them though or take them out lol

Be a fair bet that Psaila is trying to get a couple from hillside that haven't been seen at training. Sarkis brothers I've heard haven't been seen at hillside and if they are getting those two Dilizia may follow. Be a shame is Dilizia left Hillside as he was EDFL team of year selection and a very good player, far too good for Div2

Any Under 18 teams out there looking for a practice match on the 28th March v Woodend-Heskett (RDFL) our opponent for that day doesn't have u18s, was just seeing if any team would like to play a game, happy to travel or you can play at our ground.

So a couple of Jacanas recruits have had there transfers denied, Dylan wolfgramm from what I've read has played premier under Chris Johnson, represented Fiji in the afl world cup, obviously a very good footballer, would be a huge bonus for Jacana, Billy Morrison former jacana junior who has also had his transfer denied by Glenroy, only reason I can think of is because they've lost there 2 main forward targets, Billy would be a machine in div 2, couldn't think of any centre half back that could hold him, on another note it looks like Matthew O'Rourke from div 1 East Brighton in southern football league has been approved, very handy puck up for Jacana. Any else think that Jacanas new recruits outweigh there losses from last season....

Haddy are playing drysdale in drysdale on 28th of March. Hope one of them has an alternate strip as they are both the hawks. Also hearing worrying signs out of Haddy. A lot of olders guys and injuries to guys they can't afford to lose. Polizzi and merhi come to mind.
