I assume EDFL clubs don’t vote on new clubs, otherwise I wonder why on earth they’d simply vote a blatantly cheating club into their league.

Mundy gone from DP and resigned at Williamstown. Why would Jong & Smart clearances be decline??

You’ve signed a contract to play for your current club in the coming year, or

You owe the club money, or

You have club property

In 90% of cases the player usually has the club’s jumpers or something and just hasn’t returned them yet. Not a big deal.

Also only allowed 2 transfers from 1 club to another. Any clearance after that can be declined without reason. So DP want 4 from EK so 2 been approved and 2 declined.
The only way the 2 get approved is if both clubs do a deal (which normally involves $$$. That $$ must be included in salary cap also)

why dont players put disclaimers or out clauses in local level documents or do the smart ones.
a change of coach or a shift in playing list can quickly alter the initial sales pitch or reason a player signed.
i follow cricket also and reason i ask is that its a travesty that janes seymour is not allowed to play cricket anywhere still because essendon are holding him

Cheating is cheating, wether you are $10,000 over the cap or $100,000. EVERY single premier division team in the state let alone this league is over the cap mate. Take that to the bank. Salary cap means nothing better to forget about it, only thing that works is the points

Unfortunately in today’s footy that’s around his price. Not sure all the blame is on Deer Park as other clubs in this league would offer him the same.

How much was Graham, Brock McClean and Cachia getting when playing at Abers. Huggeee $$$ Lynch is another name I recall that Abers paid close to twice this figure mentioned.
Really stuffed it big time..
Just one example.

Even Mick would offer 4 figures for Mundy. Maybe not that high but I reckon 4 figures.

He must be one of the lower paid players then…side point went to the clubs sold out crown business lunch Friday …what an event .full marks to the club for having the ability to put on such an amazing elite event
