Ouch that cuts deep. Another follower of a club who relishes in mediocre performances. For a club that so many hate, l don't hear the drums beating of your irrelevant clubs. Safety in numbers for many on here it seems.

Hey BJ, trust your well.
I’m no follower of Deer Park and well aware of they spend up but they do travel in numbers and always come in for plenty of beers and a chat post game including a large number of players all in uniform. They show a lot of clubs including the Keilors how it’s done. Even getting a bus out to some grounds..
At home games I only hear good reports from friends that have been unlike some clubs that are so far up themselves it’s not funny.
I couldn’t give a rats about them but credit where it’s due.

Also they aren’t in a fluent area like Keilor, Abers, Strathmore, Pascoe Vale, Greenvale, but have survived and have a lot of old players still attend games and functions. They have done better than a lot of clubs from the old FDL so I give them a bit credit..

Bang on turbo. BTW it is affluent not fluent. Just imagine if Port Phillip and Barwon allowed day release how many more would turn up to support the specialist premiers against the likes of the failed accountants from the more (af)fluent areas like the convicted Keilorites.
A short message to all here too. May the season ahead be everything you wish it to be and I sincerely wish you good luck, good health and good banter. Bring it on....

Heard early in the week Keilor struggling to field a womens team.
Looks to be the case as they’ve only listed 15 players for tomorrow.
Quite sure most on here, like me don’t have much interest women’s footy just find it odd the all and might Keilor would struggle to field any side.

Has there ever been a side that has lost literally all of its starting 22 from the season before like EK has?

Reading through the list I don't recall any of these blokes fronting up for the seniors.

Genuinely surprised they didn't ask to get bumped down a division. Although who knows, maybe this totally fresh team might have a bit about them

Credit where credit is due… EK are fielding a senior and reserves side this week despite the off season from hell

Obviously still a long season ahead but the volunteers who are left to clean up have done well to keep the doors open

Deer Park reserves are possibly the worst premier division side for a long time. Zero depth unless there are 12 blokes out injured or unavailable. Sporting Club must be spewing as the footy club took sixteen of their patrons to play footy!!!!

Been in premier for one year nuffy so apart from the cheats won the same amount of flags as the other 8 teams ..I’m tipping will win won before at least 5 of those eight

I was wrong there that’s for sure. So far off the pace, should of stayed in WRFL, will be years before they win a flag

I went today, thought it might be a good game .How wrong was I boys against men. The less said about their seconds the better. Left at 3/4 time other than Jong not many positives for Deer park.
