Hardly well done !!!!
Couldn't field a 2s side for most of the year just to fill the ones .... In the premier comp .... Edfl should've banished them ....

Everyone is whining about the scoreline yesterday .... Who cares .... Obviously some ....

Like I've said before L.Clements is a gun young footballer and was in the best no one is mentioning how good it would be for a teenager of 16yrs to debut in the premier comp at snr level .... I've been around the club for 35 years never ever have I seen the amount of junior talent at the club playing in the Seniors and that's what it is all about transitioning from jnrs to snrs as per the big 3 ..... Good on my club for the promotion and dedication to the juniors ....

Scoreline is irrelevant for the finals to come APW will know that ....

Another horror for the Aberfeldie Football Club, their full forward reported for disgusting slurs toward a strathmore player within full ear shot multiple players and an umpire. As they stated during the week, they will have ‘zero tolerance’ to this sort of behaviour, but unfortunately for the second week in a row they’ll have a player missing games of football because they cant comprehend what can and can’t be said on the football field.

Heard about this. Absolutely shameful, if the recent EDFL & Club statements have any credibility behind them - shouldn’t play for the rest of the year.

L Clements, the 16 year old should be playing Coates league not EDFL seniors.

Abers allowed to drink alcohol in junior Friday night games inside social rooms and outside. Not sure that’s allowed but EDFL do absolutely nothing and the people at Abers don’t care they just laugh at us all.

Saw the CEO cheering on his daughter playing in a junior girls final at Windy Hill. Must be very hard to not favour the club your kid (s?) are at when you are making decisions.
Secondly everyone needs to relax with getting so wound up about name calling. Whatever happened to sticks and stones? I love my local footy and EVERY SINGLE CLUB sledges each other on the field and from the sidelines. Time for a teaspoon of cement, methinks.

They should have appointed an Aboriginal woman from South Gippsland as CEO. Meet diversity quotas and also no chance of anyone crying foul.

Your juniors are still battling. It will take 10-15 years possibly longer to get any senior benifit from your juniors.

Crikey, struck a nerve here. I don't know if there is a bias, no idea what the CEO even does. Was merely pointing out that it would be extremely hard not to subconciously favour a club that you are very closely affiliated with. It's human nature!

Fully agree. Surely it can't be that hard to find someone that lives a few suburbs over. Or with kids that play badminton or some other sport.

It was only in 2023 I’m referring to mate and it wasn’t like one person went outside. No adherence to club rules and not one senior official pulled em up.
