You can say they are perennial underachievers with their Senior team, but as a whole club they are not, they win as many junior and lower grade senior men and women flags each year as the other big clubs, still I do agree with you their seniors have underachieved since covid, mainly this year, but they did have a few key outs yesterday and been out for the finals that set them back from the jump this finals series.

You couldn’t even get the job done in the women’s comp paying big dollars (especially for Mo) and exiting in straight sets

Happens in the NFNL also, a family who I grew up with had their child picked off a month into a season from an opposition club in same division to make another stronger - warned them not to, they did, reap what you sew.
All because they lent a "name" to an extra program and claimed they could get him a look in

Poor kid was never going to make anything other than local as long as my ar$e poionted to the ground ha ha.

Parents must understand the difference between earnt invitations to above standard/next level opportunities and the actual traits/attributes required - and that of the "user pays" world where outcomes aren't guaranteed.

Mo finished leading goalkicker in the comp, around 30 clear of second.

Is also a great mentor for girls across all levels of footy.

Think twice before making stupid negative comments, senior womens comp was incredibly tight all year and the only thing you can get out of it is abers spend money and went out in straight sets, probably havent been to a single womens game at your own club all year either!

No issue with what they do around Boomfit as from all reports is very well conducted and so handy to have such a resource as part of the junior club.
I just thought it ordinary to pick one outa Wallan "in season" who was playing in the same division on what turned out to be bluff as no outcomes would ever have presented.

Did Mo get paid to turn up on Grand Final day to encourage and support the Abers women's in their Reserves GF.

I don't know whether she got paid anything throughout the year, what I do know is if she did, she was worth every cent.

Curious to know what happens with vfl listed players whose vfl and edfl teams may be playing this weekend. Surely it presents a conundrum if a player could play VFL on Saturday and EDFL on Sunday and this may well be the situation for Muratore this weekend.

VFL would be the priority and there’s no way a player plays 2 games in one weekend.
So to me if Muratore plays VFL ( probably will) won’t be playing Sunday. Big loss for APW.

Believe you can only play one game per weekend between the competitions, could be wrong though

Drone was used for 2 home matches for review purposes, no shit we wanted our rooms to be complete, pretty sure every club aims to win a senior flag and yep maintain a hotline to the match review people who suspended two of our players for flipping sledging.

If the rumours about cav are true then flipping oath i condone it, regardless its words on a footy field and the fact you can get more weeks for that then punching someone in the chin shows a flaw in the tribunaral.

As for the booing, ghee am i embarrassed that my club had a large number of fans travel to glenroy on a shocking day for footy and be vocal to great an atmosphere.

Still unsure what club you support but you seem to know a fair bit about abers! Maybe you should apply for Clays gig since you are such a know it all
