I'd gladly take a portion of acreage or a number of sheep/cattle and whatever it yielded.
A few years of crop, wool, lamb, cattle wouldn't be a bad thing too in my opinion, I'd certainly contemplate it.
No one truly wanting to bite down on the salary cap issue, tax department certainly wont as who wants to be responsible for further deaths to small community clubs.
Points could've always been the working metric if written up, and implemented more appropriately from it's infancy.
Now, however we have junior players (parents) being hogwashed into sales pitches with only one outcome in mind ... future one pointers, IF they still like footy enough after experiencing so many good times as a youngster.
And by this time in 2026 we'll all be questioning premiership clubs, and any player signings again under this same pretense.
