Mimic Tear and me being way overlevelled is making some of these bosses laughable. I went from struggling against Rykard, to walking through Godfrey in about 10 seconds.

Edit: Make that another 15 seconds for Morgott.

I see videos of the REALLY good game breaking gear (well not game breaking but it makes the game 1000000000 times easier). It's like the youtubers are showing off about acquiring it.............. yet us plebs are still bumming around in Limgrave - only dreaming about being able to one shot bosses!!!!!

Mimic tear is a joke, wouldn't mind betting they nerf it to the ground... though it's not a PVP thing so may be low priority. I've stopped using it as it trivialises every encounter.

Just beat Renalla Queen of the Full Moon

She was quite easy but annoying my Skeletal men summons worked a treat in her second phase i highly suggest to use them against here

That prick Knight that you fight at the acdemy was a pain in arse but i managed to kill him by going up the lift and he fell down the hole and died rofl cop that

I got him by running out to the Boulder and it dropped on him twice.

Eventually beat the Elden Beast at lvl 132 with a magic build, had to cheese a few bosses but made it in the end.
If you're only doing one playthrough, go a magic build and level your mimic tear to lvl 10.
Going to try a str/faith build next I think.

How many hours have you put into it?
I’ve put in 20 and I still can’t beat the first story boss, and genuinely struggle against more than 1 enemy at a time..

Wow didn’t think it could happen but power outage last night while playing. Had just beaten the gaol tunnel boss and went back and cleared out 6 evergaols. Wiped all of that and spawned before the gaol tunnel boss.

Practice practice practice. I don't fear groups of the weaker enemies, can deal with them with ease (can still get caught out with a mistimed swing). I get a bit uh ohhhhh when facing the larger knights especially when they have 2 knights or a knights and a small group of weaker dudes.

What weapon are you using?
Sword - Great Epee
Staff - Astrologers staff

Im level 32
Focusing on upgrading -
-Strength
-Dex
-Intelligence

I don’t know if I’m just shit at the game lol or what.
I can barely beat any bosses. I think I’ve beaten 3 and none of the main bosses.

Im currently looking for the meteorite staff. Hopefully that helps give a bit more damage.

Are you using the smithing stones to level the weapons up ?

Yeah I am.
But I’m finding it hard to find smithing stones.

Yeah I still need to find 1 more Smithing Stone[2] to go up one more level.

There's a way to be able to buy them from someone at the Round Table area.... but you've got to trek to a location past a castle to get the item to give it to the twins at the table. I'm probably going to attempt that today.

Maybe try different playstyles ? I started off using the shield to defend, but now I just roll everywhere lol.

Go exploring and look for different Ashes of War ? Even though I upgraded my weapon to +3, the blood swipe add on has made my Elden Ring life a lot easier!

on the map you'll see little black spots with an orange tinge around them, they're mines that you can run through and rip smithing stones out of walls from. Or you can ride around stormveil castle to get to the next area/head east and get to another area that has plenty of smithing stones. You can also get to the Capital City in under 10 minutes, plenty of great upgrading materials there.

So my journey for today was to travel to Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel - so I can defeat the boss, and get the ball bearing to the twins so I can then buy Smithing Stone[2]'s off them and then upgrade my weapon further.

Traveling to the location wasn't that hard, in fact I probably could have done it without beating Godrick (the video I watched showed you can just bypass the castle anyway lol). The cave/dungeon was a bit of a PITA, however 2 hours later I finally beat the boss, got the ball bearing and can now upgrade my weapon a bit more (until the Smithing Stone [3] become the requirement to upgrade further).

The boss of the RLCT was going to be difficult, as the youtube videos I watched had said the boss will not go down with stabbing/slashing weapons, hammers/hard hitting weapons only. This proved true as my sword + blood swipe was doing nothing but damage in the 10's. HOWEVER the Rotten Dog summon must have poisoned the boss ? As I noticed the energy bar was going down a little faster with every attack, I started swining my pitiful sword and the damage was going down even faster as though it was more damaging once again. The boss went down a few seconds later.

Castle Morne explored, Leonine defeated - got a nice sword for my troubles.
