Fair point and I didn't realise he was that young in the video. Players less than 170 cm don't generally kick it 50m though. We have a game that can be played by just about any body type which is good but these days if you aren't a 6'2" athlete you have to have something in the kit bag. Pace is a good start but I've been saying for years that we should not take any players without quality footskills. It cost us a flag this year IMO.

Anyone else see the Pic of Elijah in Brian's Training snaps gallery? Oh Dear.

It would not be any exaggeration to state that he looks like a little league kid running out with the men. He is seriously tiny.

If he cannot find a way to have a growth spurt and put on a bit of beef then he is just not going to be able to play in the big show, sorry to say.

1 I think Loki, I'm sure Dave will correct me if not.

He'll be up against it, no doubt, but he's quick extremely so and seems to have bucketloads of talent and does the small man stuff well. So it's not all doom and gloom

I thought he's 18 this year.. Because I remember someone saying he played well in the APS comp and that was strange because he was a year 11. So that's mean he's a year 12 this year and if he's like the majority of year 12s he'll be 18. I also think I recall seeing he was born in '95 so he'd be eligible this year.

Occasionally you get students make the first team, I know Cyril rioli's cousin played first team for xavier at least a few games as a year 10
