Well looks like my run in the eliminator is over. Would have liked to last a few more weeks.

I'm 200pts above my opponent with me having Pav, Palmer and BJ against Ryan Murphy and Gilbee, should have an easy win here.

Seems as if a lot of the better teams have been eliminated this round which is good for me

what an awful week!!!

i have been knocked out of the eliminatorby a team ranked 12,000 spots below me......overall im ranked 386 and they are ranked 12,500!!

they have a mediocre team with no simmonds or shaw or anyone like that....flukey games from some of their players and im out of the eliminator in the round of 35,000

doesnt realy reflect true ranking!!!

its a great idea the eliminator comp but they havnt matched the teams up correctly.

I was ranked 680 and have verses someone ranked 18000 for round 7 eliminator and they said based on the previous week is how they were gonna match the teams up.

eg: if your number 1 then you should verse the worst ranked person overall that is left in the eliminator.

so 1 vs 32000 (if there 32000 people left)

When it comes to the 16 what are they gonna do make the number 1 ranked person vs the number 6th ranked person it would just be unfair.

I was in real trouble half-way through, with 2 zero's in the backline and some early low scores.
4000 set to go out to 22000.

However, K Cornes, Burton, Cox, McMahon, Stevens, S Burgoyne, Richardson all cracked the ton, and now I'm 280 ahead with Pavlich, Schammer, Welsh vs Johnson, McPharlin, Ibbotson, Palmer and Murphy.

Looks like I'll get through to the round of 16,384.

Edit: WTF, 280 lead is now just 54 with a quarter to play.

I'm finding it a bit hard to follow progress on the AFL's "live" scoring, because not only does it take ages to update, but more often than not when it does it sets scores from some of the completed games back to zero.

Is this just me or are others having the same thing happen?

That happened to me first week, I was 934 and played someone sitting in the top 200 of the bottom half - scraped in by 10 points.

Absolutely crap week. 2 men down, Shaw, Simmonds, Adcock, Stanton all well below par. Fortunately for me, I must've played one of the worst teams remaining and have snuck over the line.

lost by 17 points to a guy who was ranked 27 thousand scoring 1965, biggest fu*&^ng fluke ever, he had campbell brown 87, polak 90, tredrea 91. compared to me who had shaw 40, guerra 30, milburn 78, burgs 74 and cornes on the bench, absolutely shattered

Stunned. How could someone ranked 104,000 overall with 13 carlton players in their squad manage to put together a score of 1873?

I'm just relieved I got 1989.

I'd be annoyed if I was the other guy - he did his best, overperformed massively, and had no 0s and it still wasn't good enough.
