So Liverpool are a bit shit this season. I didn’t see that one coming.

A lot of 20/20 hindsight going on. Most people thought they would win the title again with a few people putting them in 2nd place behind Arsenal or City. They've lost 6 of their last 7 games, and now 0-3 at Anfield to a relegation team.

This is Slot's team. They can't spend another £446 million to fix it. He'll have some grace from having won the title but if they are still in the bottom half of the table at the end of the year he could be in trouble.

A win by Arsenal tomorrow certainly gives the claims of the title race being done more validity.

It's not that City have been terrible like Liverpool, but it seems unlikely they'll put together a massive points tally this season.
Title race isn't done regardless of what happens tomorrow.

Dont know why there needs to be a rush to call a winner.

They seem to have to have drawn the line on the inside of Dias' sleeve. They changed that rule a while ago to be the bottom of the armpit.

its strange too cos this has dias jumping but when the header is made his feet are grounded. its a few frames later when his feet come off the ground.

but like i said, i cant keep up with the rules these days. if he's onside he's onside i guess, but i feel that a mistake has been made here.

It’s hindsight now, however perhaps the better option would have been to retain Diaz. And instead of Isak, invest into the midfield and defence. Liverpool are very easy to play through and over currently.

I found this photo where someone had drawn lines. It looks offside. My biggest problem with the semi-automated offside is with the crappy graphics that are shown. It's hard to have faith that the correct decision has been made.

Good win for us. Can't wait for Palmer to be back, will take this team to the next level. Santos looks another young gun.

Hopefully Spuds can do us a favour.
Not exactly a great time for Palmer to fracture his toe... Huge matches against Barca (UCL) and Arsenal (EPL) coming up.

I wouldn't be against Cole wearing bubble wrap away from the club. Even when he sleeps. His constant injuries are preventing him from reaching his ceiling.

Small step for Palace, not at our best but find a way away from home. Yes, Wolves are struggling at the bottom, but they were spirited with their new manager and stopped us to some extent.

First time this year we have won after an IB so that's a positive.

Pino coming to grips with the PL after an indifferent start, lovely goal and starting to provide assists. Sarr and JP a little off, Guehi not 100% with his foot injury after missing for England.

It's not surprising considering he is dumber than a rock.

Saves us from rushing him back i guess.

How nice is it to be sitting 2nd with him missing most the season. Cant wait to get him back, such a smart footballer😛

Not sure why Pool went for both Isak AND Ekitike.
And Ekitike has proven to be the better purchase.

But what is the goal when both are fit? One plays wide?

It feels like their squad building is a bit ****ed to be honest.

Salah will be gone soon, as is likely VVD and Konate over the next 2-3 seasons. Shocked that Pools aims weren't to keep their squad and bring in Wirtz, Ekitike, Guehi, a ball playing RB and an understudy at RWF for Salah.

Liverpool have been almost faultless in transfers for what a decade?
You could say Nunez and Keita were misses, everything else has been pretty good. I do think they've maybe got Isak due to the opportunity rather than the need for this season, few years from now it might look ok but yeah I was always confused how it would work this season. Diaz is very underrated too, he was just a really good player and he offered something completely different to Gakpo on the left. The team last year basically played with Salah as a striker starting high on the right and the rest kinda supported him, TAA was responsible for progressing the ball and he was part of the world's best.

Can only wonder if they think they're losing Salah this year as well?
