Liverpool have been almost faultless in transfers for what a decade?
You could say Nunez and Keita were misses, everything else has been pretty good. I do think they've maybe got Isak due to the opportunity rather than the need for this season, few years from now it might look ok but yeah I was always confused how it would work this season. Diaz is very underrated too, he was just a really good player and he offered something completely different to Gakpo on the left. The team last year basically played with Salah as a striker starting high on the right and the rest kinda supported him, TAA was responsible for progressing the ball and he was part of the world's best.

Can only wonder if they think they're losing Salah this year as well?
I remember a few in the knows were claiming this season would be his last at Liverpool, but I would expect him to only be there this year and maybe next year.

Just felt weird getting Ekitike and Isak when realistically they were better off getting just the one of them.

I guess we will see over the next few years if it proves to be a smart purchase but its wild just how poor he has been.

This isn't some reverse jinx attempt or anything, Arteta should be sacked if he doesn't win the league this year. They are easily top 3 team in the world now, the squad is fantastic and the rest of the premier league is pretty shit this year. They should be winning this title by 10+ points

The reason why its not "Arsenals title to lose" is because of the fear of the injury gods, as Trossard struggles to get back going.
Barring their biggest injury catastrophe of the 21st century, it's starting to look pretty good though. Will City or anyone else even get more than 75 points? A few look capable of around the low 70s at most.

I think Liverpool and City needed to come out strong after the international break, or Arsenal to stumble in the NLD to create some jeopardy. With the pressure off I can see Arsenal building their lead over the next 6 weeks to the point where the race is done.

For a manager who is regarded as a "tactical mind" he has been exposed massively here as a fraud

Back 3 against a false 9 was awful and should have been losing after 2 mins
