Pope makes mistakes also and isn't a good distributor of the ball. It's the same how Ederson and Alisson are not as good as Pope in shot stopping.. but are better passers. Similar with Henderson and why he's not that highly thought of.

Really, it's about 5 metres out. Just come out and punch it away. It's not whipped in either, kinda floated in, I'd want my goalkeeper commanding his area there.

Really, it's about 5 metres out. Just come out and punch it away. It's not whipped in either, kinda floated in, I'd want my goalkeeper commanding his area there.

But it's also 1m inside the left hand post and he's covering the entire goal. For him to get there it's about 6m in what, 0.5 seconds? counting for reaction time. Highly unlikely and if he does come for it, he gets blamed. No keeper comes for that.

Really? Maybe I have to look at it again but Mina is almost point blank header and the GK just stands there and does nothing. It's highly unlikely he saves it if its on target so he may as well come for it and try to win it. I only saw it once, but for me the cross was a floater and very close to goal, thought he could have come and punched it away.
