Bellchambers, Smith, Lobbe and Maric I'd take ahead of him. I must admit I did see them then forgot about them because I had Leuenberger ahead of them, but Kreuzer stuck in my mind because Carlton is straight after Brisbane.

Kruezer's overall ability is overrated. He's good around the ground but mediocre at the stoppage. Carlton screwed up with Jacobs, top 3 ruck in the league IMO, I'd only take Mumford ahead of him, maybe Ryder because of Ryder's forward ability.

Carlton definitely stuffed up on Jacobs. They had 4 ruckmen on the list, Kreuzer, Jacobs, Warnock and Hampson. You could understand at the time that they rated Kreuzer as the number one ruck (he was a pick one after all) but they ended up trading out Jacobs to keep a couple of plodders in Warnock and Hampson. Now he's definitely well ahead of all of them.

But that's just one of many examples of Carlton's poor list management over the last 10-15 years.

TBH, that's pretty easy to say when you have just had your pick and have already selected a Ruckman.

Whilst that's true, I know exactly who's left that I'm currently targeting, and anybody without a ruckman would know those guys are left, or should at the very least.

It'll be interesting to see how trading works, I suspect we'll see some trades involving 4+ players. Nobody will really want to do a straight swap unless they're crying out for somebody in a particular position.
