To add to my prior reasoning, I figured that Cloke was the last top-line CHF left in the pot, but that there were enough potential foils for him that one would slide to my next pick.

There's not much difference between FB and CHB nowadays, and he's probably 10th best key defender at best.Had a great year, probably the third best CHB in the competition IMO.

There's still a noticeable difference IMO. You wouldn't want Daniel Talia playing at CHB, but he's one of the best FB's in the AFL. The positions are more defined on the type of KPF the defenders are playing on. For example, you wouldn't want skinny athletic defender on Tom Hawkins, and you wouldn't want a slow pillar in defence on Nick Riewoldt. There's not much difference between FB and CHB nowadays, and he's probably 10th best key defender at best.
Not really. Most good key defenders can play on both. There's still a noticeable difference IMO. You wouldn't want Daniel Talia playing at CHB, but he's one of the best FB's in the AFL. I'd say the positions aren't set in stone anymore, it's all about the match ups. You want a one-on-one defender (Hooker, Lonergan) and a better on the lead defender (Hurley, Taylor). Whether they are the "FB" or "CHB" doesn't matter, although more often than not the Hooker's are the FB and Hurley's are the CHB. But that really depends on where their match ups are starting. There's not much difference between FB and CHB nowadays, and he's probably 10th best key defender at best.
And I had been thinking this so not directed specifically at you Shermybut surely 24 hours is to long? At our current rate we're going to take nearly 6 months to finish, been 8 days and I've had 2 picks.
I'm thinking a maximum six hour timeslot between 9am-9pm, before and after it doesn't matter how long you take and if you don't pick within six hours you get skipped. And I had been thinking this so not directed specifically at you Shermybut surely 24 hours is to long?
